What is not to love about a cheap genuine K&N product? It fit in my car with zero issues and its K&N so you know its quality. On a nice side note for the men out there, K&N includes a sticker to put on the air box that says the filter is a K&N product and does not need to be replaced. I only say this because my wife has had people who change her oil try to sell her a new one. This was a nice thing to see in the package. They even include a card to put in the glove box with a 1 800 number for a service station to call if they don’t believe it! I have always put a K&N air filter in my car and as long as they are around I always will. Plus Amazon had them for about 30-50% than other places I looked. I have no issues!

I put this K&N prior to a 600 mile road trip and whether it's coincidence or not, but I'd say I averaged about 1 - 1.5 mpg better than my previous trips. I have a 2009 Maxima and while it doesn't have the same throttle sound as my old Mustang, it's a family-ish car and I don't need that. I don't feel much difference in driving but I know the car is breathing better with the mpg proof. You probably won't see the difference as much in city driving but continuous driving on the highway I did.

I've always liked K&N filters. Had it growing up in my Civic, Mustang and now my girlfriends 2016 Maxima. It was super easy to find on Amazon I just typed it in 2016 Maxima and this was one of the options. Easy to install. After installing you can tell that there's more air intake. Probably doesn't add many horsepower but sound is everything. Has a low growling noise when you accelerate and you know it's not the exhaust because she has no exhaust system. I couldn't imagine that it has more than two to three horsepower. Highly recommend. It may even increase your gas mileage. Is it worth 25 extra dollars? I think so. I think you will as well.

Dropped in perfectly in my 2016 Nissan Maxima platinum. Can’t speak to whether it’s more or less effective than the paper filter, but it definitely uses premium materials, and I appreciate the minimum maintenance needed on these reusable filters. No idea if it gives any kind of better power or filtration gains.

I have a 2001 Nissan X Terra With a V6 Automatic. Before the K& N and Standard Oil Installed. I just took it for a road trip. The best MPG was 15 MPG Highway. I just traveled @ 75 MPH and got 16.5 MPG. So it did improve Gas Mileage as claimed. Not by much but with over 600 Mile trip & 2.50 Per gal. Works out to a savings of $9.10. on this trip alone. Not much but when you factor in the average driver drives 15000 miles a year. It will save on gas $$$ is over 227.00. Good Investment for sure.

My wife and I enjoy the scenery found along the back-roads of West Virginia, but occasionally found ourselves on dirt roads in a rainstorm in a FWD sedan, so we acquired a 2010 Nissan Murano LE with a 3.5L V6 and AWD for our scenic drives. Now we're less likely to get stuck in the mud. The used SUV had just been serviced, so we drove it about 5k miles before I installed the K&N filter and for the thousand miles prior to the change, it averaged 20.3MPG and for the thousand miles after the change it averaged 22.8MPG, a 2.5MPG improvement while driving on approximately the same terrain at about the same speeds. I've installed K&N air filters in all the vehicles I've owned for decades and typically got from about 5% up to around 8% better fuel mileage, but this time it was a12.3% increase. Needless to say, K&N air filters will be installed in all my future vehicles.

I do notice a difference but not really in power I don't believe. Hard to explain. It's just.... Cleaner feeling. I also may be neurotic. Nonetheless, it's a fantastic filter that I can use for the life of my Maxima. Recommend

Excellent fit. Dropped right in to my 2013 Murano without an issue. Packaging was a little beat up, but product was unharmed. I'd highly recommend a K&N for any application. Did I notice any performance or mpg increases? No. None. Its a Murano, Not a race car. It's also just a filter, and not a whole CAI. I just hate buying filters every 6 months to a year and this easily negates the cost in the first year.

A perfect drop-in fit for my 2013 Nissan Altima 3.5S with factory air box and intake. Throttle response was noticeably improved over clean/new factory paper filter, ESPECIALLY at lower RPM (which this engine w/ the CVT tends to prefer). You'll notice throttle response increase much more than an overall power increase. MPG climbed right around 1 full mile per gallon (hovering between .9 and 1.1 additional from my calculations at the gas pump and the in-dash display). Intake growl increased a little when really getting into the throttle, but is same as stock when you're not driving aggressively. If you have a CVT (Altima, Maxima, Murano, Pathfinder, etc.), then this seems to make sense due to the improvement in throttle response (how power applied to the wheels tracks with pedal movement). If you're in a truck with the std 6-speed auto, then it may not make much of a difference other than tripling your filter change interval. Going from 27mpg to 28 mpg will pay for the filter alone (I already have a recharge kit from K&N, also found here on Amazon). Don't expect miracles, but it's a quality product that delivers reasonable return on investment. If you drive like a fool, don't expect your MPG to go up. But you will enjoy the slight noise improvement and the throttle response.

I got this for my 2014 Nissan Murano. The fact that these filters are lifetime is a must buy on its own. I have had friends swear by K&N's product and they were right. Very easy to install and from witnessing others, they are very easy to clean. The filters themselves state they have a good 50,000 miles before they need cleaning. Most filters are around 20,000-30,000 miles. They are a little pricey, but if you are not looking to get rid of your vehicle anytime soon, then they are a great buy!
